My good friends Jamie and Ernesto had a beautiful ceremony at Sequoyah Country Club, nestled in the hills overlooking Oakland. Seems like the ceremony was touching for the mariachi band too.
Sarah and Ritz asked my good friend Deb Huber to photograph their wedding, which is how I ended up at the stately Spring Ranch in Mendocino as a second photographer. Everything clicked into place for this shot – I remember running through the grass, envisioning something like this, as they walked up the aisle. This is from a few years ago – I had the chance to photograph a pair of weddings in New York a week apart from one another, jumped at the opportunity, and sandwiched a visit to Montreal in between. This is dad, holding mom, watching the wedding ceremony. The bride and groom wanted to be married somewhere lush – the Lamberton Conservatory was the perfect venue.
